Appearance

Appearance holds two per-user work preferences: the dashboard theme and the interface language. Both are saved in the browser you are working in — they never change what a learner sees, and on a new device or browser they start from the defaults again: the system theme, and whichever supported language your browser asks for (English if it asks for none of them).

Dashboard theme

The theme controls the dashboard — the visual expression of the administrative app for your account. Set it at /dashboard/settings/appearance.

systemFollows your operating system setting

It is a work preference, not the identity of the content. Because it is saved in your browser, changing it affects only your own view — not your teammates and not your learners.

Interface language

Cursiva is available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. The choice is per-user and applies to the dashboard and menus you work in.

  • The language is saved in your browser, so each member can work in the language they prefer.
  • It does not translate the content you author. Course text stays in whatever language you wrote it; only the surrounding interface follows this setting.

Organization-wide identity — logos, bios, and institutional information — lives in a separate area, along with members and security. See Organization and security.
